Odessa Mission
New Years Program
This year, we started out with a skit about an atheist grandmother who has a
heart attack and is given a second chance at life because of her grandkids'
prayers. There's also a scene where a demon comes to take her soul but fails
because of the intervention of a guardian angel. The skit also incorporates
powerful video footage of what Hell could look like, while contrasting that
with breathtaking footage of both Heaven and the Second Advent.
Approximately twenty-five people attended and everyone seemed very
satisfied. I also shared a few thoughts with the folks before starting the
second part of the program, which included games, contests, and prizes for
both kids and adults. One very encouraging thing about this program, unlike
our previous ones, is that the majority of our visitors live right near our
new office. Additionally, a good number of them also know Nadia, Valaria,
and Polina, who actively attend our children's program. Please pray that the
Lord would use today's successful gathering to produce lasting fruit and
momentum for our growing congregation.
